Dear Nokia, Mark should go to SXSW because… #nokiacomp
this is a great way to connect google maps and nokia maps, but isn't there an easier way? Google Maps Mobile keep Favorites in the preinstalled application Landmarks, which is also used by Nokia maps. so...
Thanks
Micky
You can also use the Nokia Map Loader application on your PC to add additional country maps to your phone as and when required, eg Spain. This means that when you arrive you don't need to pay exorbitant download costs downloading the map for the area you are now in.
You're right. Most people these days have a wireless internet connection at home. Simply, access Google Maps on your Nokia device through WiFi (or 3G), search for whatever you want, and save the desired location to Landmarks. I am a big fan of using less devices and less steps to get what I want. Nevertheless, Mark is also right, since this guide is for those who are on the computer.
the site allows to search for an address (using google maps) and then send it (as a pinpoint) to your phone! It works with nokia maps and google maps.
is it also possible to save my Favorites (my locations) from my Nokia Maps onto my PC? Just to have a backup (and see/use them in say google maps etc)?
Where could i find more on this?
Thanks
thomas
